Meet The Owner!!!

About Me

Hi, I’m Darrell Lake, founder of Lakeside Aircraft Detailing — and if there’s one thing you should know about me, it’s that I put my whole heart into everything I touch.

Where It All Started
Long before Lakeside, there was a kid with a football, a family that believed in him, and a work ethic that refused to quit. Football has been one of the greatest teachers of my life. I played through high school, earned my way to the college level at Marshall University and Fort Valley State University, and later chased the game a little further with a small professional career in arena football. Those years taught me lessons that no classroom ever could — how to prepare when nobody’s watching, how to get back up when the hit knocks you down, and how to trust the people lined up next to you. Every one of those lessons still lives in me today.

Family Is Everything
Before I’m a businessman, a coach, or anything else — I’m a husband, father, a son, a brother, and an uncle. My family is the reason I work as hard as I do. Being a God fearing man, devoted husband, loving dad, a dedicated son, and a present brother and uncle isn’t something I take lightly — it’s the foundation everything else in my life is built on. Every early morning and every late night is fueled by the people I love and the legacy I want to leave behind.

Coaching the Next Generation
I’m also a football coach, and honestly, it’s one of the greatest honors of my life. I believe deeply in the leadership and development of young men, and I use the game as a way to teach them how to carry themselves off the field — with integrity, discipline, and pride. Coaching isn’t just about winning games for me; it’s about building young men who will lead their families and their communities one day. Teaching the next generation is a responsibility I take seriously, and it’s a role I’ll never step away from.

Bringing the Coach’s Mentality to Business
Everything I’ve learned in football — dedication, hard work, and perseverance — is exactly what I bring into every business I’ve ever run. I don’t cut corners, I don’t chase shortcuts, and I don’t put my name on anything I’m not proud of. I’ve taken pride in every business I’ve built, and now I’m channeling all of that into: Lakeside Aircraft Detailing.

Welcome to Lakeside
Lakeside is more than a business to me — it’s a reflection of everything I stand for. When you trust us with your aircraft, you’re getting the same standard I bring to my family, my players, and every venture I’ve ever put my name on: excellence, attention to detail, and pride in the craft.

I’d be honored to earn your trust.
